Vijay Limaye

Dr. Vijay Limaye is a climate and health expert working to make the growing dangers of the climate crisis more tangible and actionable for the public and policymakers. He is a senior scientist at NRDC and and adjunct assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Trained as an environmental epidemiologist through research in the US and India, Vijay is a skilled scientist, communicator, and advocate. He works to advance science to support climate-smart policies that improve health, address longstanding societal inequities, and protect communities. His perspective is informed by years of research and policy experience in the nonprofit sector, academia, and public service in federal, state, and local government.
